Children and mothers never truly part

Children and mothers never truly part

My son passed on Jan.23 of this year and I will always feel his spirit. No matter what kind of relationship you had, the love never goes away. I can still hear our conversations and the many times I told him I loved him. Only a mother understands this kind of love. ~ Mary Cook

It reminds me of the first time I heard the heart beat of my 3rd child. Was not planning on more kids but the moment they said there is your heart beat and here is the baby, love! Two hearts beating, still amazing. And to everyone who has not been blessed with that relationship I send out my love. ~ Pat Pearson

I know parents can be cruel. My father abandoned me because his wife didn’t want me in their lives. His answer was: I have to chose my wife, she comes first. That was the last time I heard from him. But it doesn’t define who we are. Let them go and move on. Its their loss.

I didn’t have that bond either, but I don’t begrudge it for the rest. I try to build it with my children and grandchildren. ~ Brigitte Huff

The bond is there no matter what, even though some choose to fight it or it is not productive it is always there I believe. ~ Trish Higginson
