Sometimes when people say forever they mean it

Sometimes when people say forever they mean it

I have been married to my husband 50 years, celebrated our golden anniversary last April. He was 21 and I was 18, and we had only known one another for 4 months. I never thought of the years, as they passed by and I never took it so seriously that it became a “institution”. We just thought of it as a “great adventure”, kind of like the movie “Up” and it still is. Life has had its ups and downs, and we have had our differences but nothing that didn’t work out in the end. I guess we are from the generation that “fixes things, and doesn’t throw it away”. ~ Sue Scimeca

50 years and going strong! We were just talking about that this morning. He said to me…..50 years ago did you ever think it could still be this good after 50 years. I said, no I didn’t, meaning still being so much in love and looking forward to say, even 20+ more years. We’re still young enough that it’s possible. I know our blessings all come from the Lord. He is our strength! ~ Joie Kobak

What a blessing to truly love someone till forever. Finding that one person who can’t wait to marry you and live the rest of there days loving one another. ~ Rossana Gomez
