Even the little insults can harm

In my experience, I’ve learned that there is always an element of truth in offending comments. If there is no truth, we rub off the comment, laugh at it, forget it. If someone calls me ugly, fat .etc I think the lesson here is that the only opinion that should matter ever, is our own and if we love ourselves in the pure way we’re supposed to, not the arrogant way, then we are completely protected by that armour of self love, and those silly little offending comments or big grand comments, (spawned from someone’s ego drive to feel superior), mean nothing, are nothing. ~ Steph Chapman
